When was torches invented

Torch was used as a symbol of hope, life and, if turned upside down, of death and mourning and enlightenment. With time, torches were replaced with oil, gas, and electrical lamps. They still, though, last until today in various forms. They are used in the summer for lightning, as decoration and to chase away insects, in the gardens and on camping trips. Jugglers also use juggling torches that are made of metal and wick on one end dipped in gasoline or naphtha, for juggling and fire breathing.

They most commonly use incandescent light bulbs or LEDS. Incandescent light bulbs have tungsten filament in a glass bulb in atmosphere of vacuum or of gas xenon, argon or krypton; noble gases that reduce evaporation of filament and with that make lamp last longer.

Types that are used in flashlights are of white high-power kind. They are much more efficient than incandescent light bulbs and last longer. As a source of energy, they mostly use batteries but the can use accumulators or super-capacitors, they can be charged by solar power or mechanically.

Depending on planed use they are made in myriad of shapes. You may have seen old films where the hominin people just happened to live next to tar pits where fires rage, the hominin dips some fabric into the tar with a branch of wood so and it instantly ignites this new firey torch to illuminate the night.

Aside from emergencies and certain jobs, flashlights are needed for nighttime adventures or personal security. Some people are scared of the dark and may need a mini flashlight or flashlight keychain to feel safe. On the other hand, for those that are night owls or love camping, flashlights are needed to go on a nighttime hike or take a bathroom break. Plain and simple, everyone needs a flashlight! They're necessary for a lot of emergencies, many professions require them, and they're essential the next time you need to see in the dark.

Every household should have at least one flashlight, however having extras will never be discouraged. Flashlights keep you out of the dark and safe in the event of an emergency.
