Where is pasarakyat bus terminal

Sorry just need to make sure.. Ok, sorry for the confusion. It is Pasarakyat that I was referring to, not Plaza Rakyat. Thinking back about the place, 10 minutes is possible if you're walking very fast. So, I'd put it at about 15 minutes on the average. Don't bother taking a taxi to Bukit Bintang, unless it's raining or very hot or you're tired and lazy to walk.

If you're taking the taxi, insist the driver to use the meter. The ride should not cost you more than 3 Ringgit USD1. Taxi driver around that area know you are not from local, so, they'll ask for high price. You can agree But U can try asking whether can following according the meter-reading or not. If its not, then think u can forget it. If you've booked your hotel, try ask them how much will it cost to take a cab from puduraya bus station. Or perhaps can use the Monorail. It link pretty well with KL's major hotels.

Have a nice trip to KL. Pasar Rakyat literally means people's market, and the building has an open air bus terminal, just about 1km away from the Bukit Bintang area, where all the shopping malls are. Plaza Rakyat, or better known as Puduraya not to be mistaken with the Pudu station , is the main bus terminal in KL.

This terminal is just m away from Chinatown aka Petaling Street , and about 1. Not all taxis are bad and do not use the meter. Unfortunately, there are many at the Puduraya bus terminal. Where is your hotel? If it's Ritz Carlton, it's even nearer than the Pasar Rakyat terminal. Don't take a taxi, walk to your hotel if you do not have many bags to carry, unless it's raining.
