Should i let kaiden or ashley die

To me Alenko always seemed like a boring cry baby regardless of whether or not he survived. Ashley gets mad in ME2, Alenko whines. Welcome to gamefaqs, where poverty is an illegal activity. User Info: mixedlion. Well of my six files I've killed off Ashley four times. Kaiden isn't exactly a supermodel but I liked his personality better, he had a protective demeanor, he felt more like a war buddy, and considering I have my female vanguard as my canon and other five characters as write-ins that fit around her decisions and universe, it felt right.

I found Ashley to have way too much attitude, not the prettiest painting in the world especially in ME1, she just looked weird , and she just isn't as compelling as a character. But to each his or her own Ashley always dies in my playthroughs.

It just makes sense. But still, who is attracted to Ashley? All the Ashley dislike is just making my choice all the easier, I think Kaiden isn't a highly trained tech specialist and biotic, he's a mix, thus neither training is full realized, thus by your own logic Ashley is better trained. Shepard doesn't know Kaiden better, as at the start of ME1, Shepard is a fresh addition to the Normandy.

Even if Shepard wasn't, you still obviously don't know the other characters. Ashley isn't a xenophobe, had you actually bothered to talk to her and paid attention you would know that. The rest of the reasons I'm now going to lower myself to argue, as it's opinion I don't know why, I just do. User Info: Phoenixmon2. Ashley's one of my favorite characters so User Info: darkace First run through I sent Kaidan with the Salarians not knowing I'd soon have to pick someone to die thanks to a spoiler free run.

When Ashley was with the bomb and under attack I doubled back to make sure it went off, but felt crushed I had to leave a comrade behind to die. Just remember, whoever you send will not be accessible to you for this mission, so don't send a character you would normally have accompanying you. Side Note: Ensure you destroy the Geth Flyers in the north of the map once your team and Captain Kirrahe's team move out.

If you fail to do so, Captain Kirrahe will die. The real decision point comes later, once you have set the explosives for Saren's base.

Whoever you sent with Captain Kirrahe will send a message to say they are pinned down by Geth, so you leave the other character setting the bomb while you go and rescue the first. However, the character with the bomb will message shortly afterward to say they are also being attacked.

She doesn't hate them, she explains, she just doesn't trust them over humans. By Mass Effect 3 , however, Ashley grows to form deep and trusting bonds with the aliens aboard the Normandy, especially those who were present in Mass Effect 1 such as Garrus and Tali. In combat, she represents the Soldier class and can bring some heavy firepower to a fight.

Players who focus more on tech and biotic abilities may find it helpful to have someone capable of hanging back and providing damage from afar. Kaidan is a supporting fighter in contrast to Ashley. He combines biotic and tech abilities and functions similarly to the Sentinel class. In Mass Effect 3 , he's arguably one of the stronger crewmates to bring into a fight - particularly if players are focusing more on gunfire than complementary abilities. If Shepard is a Soldier, they can get good use out of Kaidan's wide range of skills.
